08.11.2010	With the “Special train” to Sweden: A slab track system is being created in the Malmö city tunnel
	A slab track is being laid in the tunnel section with two individual 6 km tunnels. The sleepers are embedded in concrete and can absorb the vibration caused by high-speed trains in a better way due to having an extremely flexible insert.

04.11.2009	Shotcreting in 32 km long high mountain tunnels
	In Western China, at an altitude of 3,380 m, two parallel railway tunnels 32.6 km long are currently being driven through the Guanjiao mountains. It is the longest tunnelling project that has ever been undertaken in China. Putzmeister technology was commissioned to secure the excavation under extreme conditions using wet-shotcrete.

28.04.2009	Huge tunnel elements for the Bosporus Crossing concreted
	The metropolis of Istanbul, which boasts a population of 15 million and stands at the dividing point between Europe and Asia, is currently home to a spectacular railway tunnel construction that has been designated the Marmaray Project. Putzmeister concrete pumps and a concrete wet-spraying machine are involved in producing the huge tunnel elements for the underwater section, in tunnel lining with shotcrete and in backfilling tunnel formworks on land.
